We’ve never been a huge fan of bills. I mean, let’s be honest we have better things to spend our hard earned money on than a cable bill. I constantly hear my friends and family say they spend over 100 dollars on their cable bill or more. I’m always in shock. Oh the things I could do with $100.

Now, don’t get me wrong. We’re a family that enjoys pulling up our favorite show once a night, and watching it after a long day of work. But, we like doing so without breaking the bank.

Here are a few ways you can save money on your cable bill.

Benefits: Free Trial, watching tv shows the next day, ability to pause, rewind, and fast forward.
Disadvantages: You have to practice patience by waiting one day to watch your TV show, they don’t have every single show, but they have all the ones that we as a family care to watch.

2. Simply get an antenna and hook up your TV to the cable line. You’ll get the basic channels
Benefits: You save money, there’s no payment each month.
Disadvantages: You only get up to about channel 13.
